On the actual food voucher, I have listed what the client is authorized to purchase with the voucher. It was a bit time consuming, but I think well worth the work. It eliminates mis-spending of GA funds. I have also established a good relationship with 3 area supermarkets. This allows for any supermarket manager at any of the three supermarkets to call me at any time if they have a question or concern.
We pretty much use the same guidelines as food stamps. If a client wants something specific I write it right on the voucher.
We also have a "pre-print" of what's acceptable and what's not.
